when I was just a little girl...

When I was a little girl, I always wanted to grow up faster.

When I was 5, I wished I was 8

When I was 8, I wished I was 12

When I was 12, I wished I was 15

Ah, you know what I mean?

The only obvious reason why I think so is...

I want to be beautiful, like those hot woman in the television,LOL

Let me tell you a story...

Most of you should know that I wear specs

What you guys didn't know is that I started wearing specs since I was 7 yrs old!

So, how does this happened?

.....

There was this little girl, always looks up to those woman in the television

back in the 1980's and early 90's,

somehow, wearing specs was "in"

puffy hair, specs ----> COOL

What that little girl did was to stand infront of TV,

less than 5 inches away nearly everyday to reach her dream

when she was enter standard one, there was a compulsary eye check

she was so HAPPY when the optimitrist told her that she needs to get a specs!

So, the little girl's mom got her a HUGE rimmed PINK spec

p/s-what the little girl didn't know back then was that the spec she loved was actually sunglasses

Standard 2 onwards, friends keep laughing at the little girl

Boys laughed and bullied little girl calling her "Doraemon"

Little girl hate hate hated herself for wearing specs

.....

OK fine.

I am a bad storyteller

Anyway, what I'm trying to tell in this story is that...

this is what I get for trying to be like a grown up when I was young

I am stuck with spec for the rest of my life,

well, almost,

when I'm not wearing my contacts :S

At this age, all I am hoping for to get younger again

I know I am still young, but NOT that young anymore :(

I was flipping through my photo album the other day

I really missed my young(er) looking skin

my not-so-huge eye bags

my brighter and not so tired looking eyes

my getting fatter neck

*sigh*
