Why lah....Why you only ask me to go for interview now? I was VERY eager to hear from you, I REALLY wanted to work with you, and why do you reply me so late? I sent in 2 resume, made 3 phone calls, I thought I had no hope at all so I gave up. I had to quickly look for another replacement before the deadline ends. I got it! I got it right away. I was pretty happy about it until you showed up in my life again and gave me a useless hope. I can't reject others offer. I had to stick with it. Sigh, why oh why?...

Sloggi Adwave Final & Penang trip

If you have follow-up what I talked about 2/3 post ago, I mentioned that my team were selected as one of the finalist for Sloggi Autumn 08 Advertising and Event Campaign Competition. We went up to Penang on 14/03/2008 (fri). We took around 8 hours to reach Penang!!! It's due to the slow moving bus, went to Ipoh & butterworth and huge jam at Penang Bridge. I feel lazy to type out everything. I'll let the picture to do the talking. Enjoy people!

The worst thing that happened during that day was...I forgot to bring my formal shirt for presentation!!! LoL, very forgetful of me. I had to go Gurney plaza to look for a new one.=.=" We went to look for Priscilla who's working in Gurney Plaza too.

At night, we went back to my aunt's old place to ready for tomorrow's presentation. Practiced and practiced.lol

The next morning, I brought my friends and sis to the Dim Sum restaurant at Taman Pekaka there for breakfast before heading to USM.

When we reached USM, we had to look for the main hall , it's easier to find than we expected. lol.
We were required to go to the audio and visual room to check our presentation slides. On the way, I was overwhelm by the size of the hall.*faint*

After the competiton, we head back home, took a shower and came back out for dinner. We ate at gurney drive. Then, we went to watch a movie, which I even forgot about the name. "Horton", I think. LOL. Sorry, I slept in the cinema, too tired.HAHA. After the show, we went to chill at Segafredo @ Gurney Plaza.

There's way too many things in my head right now. I'm very busy preparing myself for the upcoming presentation at USM, time passes so fast! I have an interview with a major ad agency for internship tomorrow and I'm not very ready yet. Assignments, assignments and presentations!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got quite a few stuff to settle before heading to Penang because right after I come back from the competition, there's lots more thing to settle. Creative Strategy presentation, proposal, prints ads and more creative ads. Sales Promotion Design lecturer is sure a crazy person because she KNOWS we're busy preparing and going for the competition she sent us to and she just HAS to give more work for us to settle! Then, there's Brand Management proposal and presentation coming up soon. I really need more fresh ideas!!! What we always do during discussion group is just braindstorm, brainstorm and brainstorm! I really wonder how long I will live just because I think too much everyday (willingly and unwillingly, lol)

I'm starting to freak myself out by looking at the Sloggi Competition Tentitive programme list they sent me. There's so many things going on on that day! And trust me, when I see any journalist/reporter/ or anyone with camera during my presentation, I will start to freak out! Whatever. I don't give a damn anymore. HAHA> I seriously am going crazy.

p/s- the ramblings above are my nonsensical thoughts. Please just ignore me. Come on, I just need to release my stress :P

long due updates!

I know! I know! It's been nearly a month! LOL. Life has been up and down, really down. =P Lots of things happened within this month and I've learnt a lot too. Since there's so many things to update, I'll try to make them as short as possible.

1) LOREAL BRAINSTROM 2008

I'm sure some of you are wondering how was the presentation. Well, We did went to Loreal Boardroom for presentation and there were a few more unexpected people showed up in the boardroom. Fine, let me sum this up. The presentation failed to bring us to Final. *sigh* So, this has showed that good proposal doesnt mean that we can win the competition. LOL. I think I really need to brush up on my presentation skill. Owh well, this is a good experience, =)

2) SLOGGI AUTUMN 08' ADVERTISING & EVENT CAMPAIGN COMPETITION

Err.... this is the next competition me and my group members had participated in. I"m sure most of you know what Sloggi is right? UNDERGARMENTS. haha. It's funny that the guys in my team had to learn more about ladies undergarments. LOL. Anyway, we've proposed our ideas, did our graphic iteams and sent it out already. Just waiting for replies from them. Wish some good news will arrive soon. *grin*

3) Chinese New Year 2008

I seriously have to admit this year's CNY is a lil bit ..boring than usual. The atmosphere is quite dead. By the 3rd day of CNY, I was already rotting at home lol. However, I did met up with some relatives, went to Penang for a day and met with Sarah! Here's some pics :-

4) Valentines Day 2008

Yeap. I managed to spent this year's Valentines with yong. I got him a couple shirt and he got me a box of Ferrero Roche Chocolate( even though he finished most of it,LOL) and a set of jewellery! It's a real suprise for me. Thanks dearie! If you read my blog from last time, you can easily guess where we went to fro our Valentines dinner. haha. The usual place, Roadhouse Grill @ Ampang. Our favourite spot.*grin* hehe...after having dinner, we went to the cinema at Berjaya Times Square and then we linger around there for a while before we head home. =) Here are some pics.

4) One of My Best Friend's Wedding

She's same age as I am. She used to be my coursemate when I was studying Chemistry and Biology and NOW she's married. LOL. I can assure that she's 100% not pregnant because, I was her bridesmaid. lol. I keep getting questions like :" OMG, is she pregnant?!" and the answer is "No". lol. Anyway, I went to Dungun, Terengganu fro 3 days and 2 nights just for her wedding. Being a bridesmaid is not easy at all. haha. There's quite a few things to take care of especially the bride. And, I was quite depress for some personal issue, the whole being the bridesmaid wasnt as exciting as I thought. My attention was unfocused and there wasnt much appetite. BUT, I'm really glad that she's happily married! Her boyfriend, er.no, i mean husband was so aggresive when trying to fetch her from her house. He was shouting all those romantice, goosebump(only to us) words to get his bride. The "sisters" were happily fooling the bridegroom and his best men . The best thing is, the bridegroom sisnt give up even once. He was so enthusiasted in getting the bride. I keep wondering will my husband be someone who love me as much? lol. Anyway, here's the pics:-

So, let me sum things up. hmm...the past month, I've suffered a lot and gained a lot. I guess life's like that, nothing's perfect. I keep wishing, everyday when I wake up, everyday will be a better day. =) Trying hard to think positive now. hehe. Will try to update more often. take care!
